The colors of Lent and their symbolism:

This unique rosary has been custom designed by Gifts O Faith especially for the season of Lent.
The predominant color is purple, or amethyst, the universal color of royalty assigned to Lent by the Church.

To prepare our spirits, we repent for the earthly temptations that corrupt and mislead us.
The white Invitatory bead above the Cross symbolizes the spiritual purity we seek to achieve.
The first white Cruciform bead signifies our desire to end human suffering and illness in ourselves and those we love.

The circle or loop of this rosary mark the long days Jesus spent in the desert.
The three black Cruciform beads remind us of the three times the devil tried to tempt our Lord.

The last white Cruciform bead recalls the Eucharistic gifts bestowed at the Last Supper.
The Invitatory bead celebrates the joy of Easter Sunday and His resurrection.

May this rosary help us to walk more closely with Him, remembering His journey as we walk our own.
